These are a few pictures from our Thailand Holiday.  We visited the tropical island of Koh Samui, off the south east coast of Thailand, for the last two weeks of May.  The first week was spent at the Imperial Boat House Hotel on Choeng Mon beach.  The hotel rooms are unique; they are converted teak rice barges that used to ply the Chao Phraya river to Bangkok.

The beaches and restaurants were really quiet due to the 'low season'.  The weather was excellent, although a little humid.  Occasional rain showers heralded the start of the 'rainy season', but were no hindrance.

We spent the second week on the north coast of Koh Samui at the Coconut River development.  This was a private beach side enclosure of five houses surrounding a swimming pool.  We usually had the pool to ourselves.

Departure from Koh Samui's open air airport was a sad occasion, but we hope to be back!
