We ran (or walked!) the Ninth Wanjiazhai Hash on Saturday 15 July 2000.  We decided to make it a mountain hash to stay cool.  As it transpired, the  weather was overcast so there were no problems with excessive sun.

Start of the Ninth Wanjiazhai Hash

The course was set by the hares, Tang Wanlin and Charlie Zhang, at the mountain pass between Pingshuo and Liminbu.

The hounds hot on the trail

Close to 30 of us took part (the hounds), with varying degrees of athleticism.

The view from the top

The view from the top of the mountain was breathtaking.

They are Hashers...

Windswept hashers at the top of the mountain (Xiao Hao, Ray, Tang Wanlin, Xiao Ping and Peter).

The way down

As we descended, the sun came through beneath the clouds to illuminate the patchwork of fields in Liminbu valley.
