We ran (or walked!) the Ninth Wanjiazhai Hash on Saturday 15
July 2000. We decided to make it a mountain hash to stay cool. As it
transpired, the weather was overcast so there were no problems with
excessive sun.

The course was set by the hares, Tang Wanlin and Charlie
Zhang, at the mountain pass between Pingshuo and Liminbu.

Close to 30 of us took part (the hounds), with varying
degrees of athleticism.

The view from the top of the mountain was
breathtaking.

Windswept hashers at the top of the mountain (Xiao Hao, Ray,
Tang Wanlin, Xiao Ping and Peter).

As we descended, the sun came through beneath the clouds to
illuminate the patchwork of fields in Liminbu valley.
